Tippy Taps Treats do not contain any added ashes. This declaration is actually a requirement under European regulation ((EC) No 767/2009) and refers to the mineral content of our product (e.g. magnesium, calcium, phosphorus).

If we burn the contents of a Tippy Taps Treats pouch we would have no proteins, carbohydrates or fat left. The only thing we would have would be the minerals contained in each bag and that is what is referred to as “Crude Ash”.

Minerals are nutrients that must be part of a healthy and balanced diet, as they are crucial for the development and function of your pet’s body. They help to balance body fluids and to support strong bones and teeth.

These treats should be complementary to your dog’s normal diet. Daily portion size should follow the guidelines on back of each of the product’s packages as with any other food you feed your pet. But don’t be frightened, no harm will happen to your friend if you give him some extra treats. The limit indicated on our pouches is the advised daily dosage carefully calculated by out nutrition expert to make sure your friend wont suffer a little tummy ache from eating to much fruit and to avoid weight gain caused by the natural sugar present in fruits.

Actually no 100% natural food is hypoallergenic, however since our treats are single ingredient you can feel safe feeding this to your dog as there are no hidden ingredients, preservatives or additives. In any case always ensure you are supervising your pets when feeding them a new product.

For instance, if your dog is already a senior then look out for our Sweet or Tart Apple Chews, being packed with Pectin is wonderful to help regulate digestion. Regardless of what pet we are talking about, dogs included, never force them to eat a treat if they don’t want. It may be because they just don’t like them or some other reason but no mater what using force is never the answer.

If you are ever in doubt if you should feed our treats to a pet ask your Veterinary, he will for sure have the answer.

This is actually natural starch that is drawn from the fruits during the drying process. We don’t use any preservatives in order to keep the chews 100% natural, so rest assured this is normal and you can feed your pet with this.

Our Sweet or Tart Apple Chews are particularly good for bad breath, but all our chews contain naturally occurring enzymes and phytonutrients that are believed to help with this.
